I missed a day because Joe borrowed my camera and I forgot to get it back for a photo on Monday.  This is a close-up shot of the pretty flowering plant that Joe’s mom received while she was in the hospital, that he brought home the other day.

I bought a new pair of shoes to wear with my kilt to North Texas Irish Festival.  My first pair of Converse Low-Tops.  My husband thinks they are “sexy”, I don’t know why, hehe.  I like them a lot, though, they’re very comfy.  I may buy other colors.  :-)

Saturday, the Day of The Mouse.  No, not the cool one… but the one of the Chuck E. variety.  That place is really hard to take, but Alex had a lot of fun, and that’s all that matters!  There was pizza, cake, and tokens.  Tokens, tokens, tokens.  It would have been easier to spend them all, if Joe didn’t get an hour’s worth of GalagaPlay out of just one of them!!  I myself played skiball.  No real way to drag that out, time-wise.  10 balls are 10 balls, only the score matters!  It was a long but fun day.
